Anti-institutionalisme in Nederland

Abstract

Dit is een exploratief onderzoek naar de huidige stand van zaken van anti-institutionalisme in Nederland. Hierbij is gekeken naar gedachtegoed, organisatiegraad, voedingsbodems, mogelijke ontwikkelpaden van radicalisering en mogelijke risico’s voor de democratische rechtsorde. Op basis van de bevindingen zijn mogelijke haalbare handelingsperspectieven beschreven voor beleidsmakers, gemeenten en uitvoerend professionals. Tenslotte beoogt het onderzoek mogelijke handelingsperspectieven in kaart te brengen en aan te reiken voor beleidsmakers, gemeenten en handhavers van de openbare orde. Dit zijn handelingsperspectieven voor zowel een constructieve omgang met mensen met anti-institutionele overtuigingen en handvatten ter versterking van de maatschappelijke en institutionele weerbaarheid tegen anti-institutioneel extremisme. This is an exploratory study into the current state of anti-institutionalism in the Netherlands. The researchers have looked into the ideas, degree of organisation, feeding grounds, possible paths towards radicalisation and potentials risks to the democratic legal order. Based on our findings, we have outlined possible, feasible perspectives for action for policy makers, municipalities and executive professionals. Finally, the study aims to map out and provide possible courses of action for policy makers, local authorities and law enforcement agencies. These action perspectives aim to deliver constructive ways of dealing with people who hold anti-institutional beliefs as well as tools for strengthening social and institutional resilience against anti-institutional extremism
