Doelgroeponderzoek Schadefonds Geweldsmisdrijven

Abstract

Alle slachtoffers van geweldsmisdrijven, en hun naasten en nabestaanden, die in aanmerking komen voor een tegemoetkoming vallen in de potentiële doelgroep van het Schadefonds Geweldsmisdrijven (hierna: SF). Het is belangrijk om de kenmerken van de potentiële doelgroep in kaart te brengen en te vergelijken met de bereikte doelgroep van slachtoffers die een aanvraag hebben ingediend bij het SF. Deze inzichten zijn van belang om de organisatie (beter) te positioneren, de dienstverlening te verbeteren en doelgroepen die het SF nu niet of in mindere mate weten te vinden beter te bereiken. Het huidige onderzoek beoogt dan ook zowel de bereikte als de potentiële doelgroep van het SF in kaart te brengen. Centrale onderzoeksvragen: Wat zijn de profielen van de bereikte en potentiële doelgroep van het Schadefonds? In hoeverre komt de bereikte doelgroep overeen met de doelgroep waar het Schadefonds voor bedoeld is? Welke aanbevelingen kunnen worden gedaan om de potentiële doelgroep (beter) te bereiken? The potential target group of The Violent Crime Compensation Fund (Schadefonds Geweldsmisdrijven, hereinafter: SF) includes all victims of violent crime, as well as close relatives and surviving relatives of victims, who are eligible for compensation. It is important to identify the characteristics of the potential target group and to compare and contrast them with the group of victims who do submit applications to the SF. This information can help the SF to better position the agency, improve its services and better reach target groups that the agency is currently unable to reach, or does not fully reach. This study covered both the group that the SF does already reach and the potential target group. The study focused on the following key research questions: What are the profiles of the group that the SF currently reaches and the potential target group? To what extent does the group that the SF currently reaches match the target group that the SF is intended to serve? Which recommendations can be made to (better) reach the potential target group?
