Abstract

In 2004, work started on the development of an Integration Monitor. The object is to develop a tool that can be used to monitor the integration of first and second-generation individuals from ethnic minorities over time. De Integratiekaart is een project van het WODC in samenwerking met het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS). Het doel is een instrument te ontwikkelen met behulp waarvan de integratie van allochtonen van de eerste en de tweede generatie door de tijd heen zo feitelijk mogelijk gevolgd kan worden. Een aantal cohorten nieuwkomers die zich Nederland hebben gevestigd zijn door de jaren heen gevolgd. Het rapport dat vorig jaar verscheen over de integratiekaart is te vinden in het vak Links. Er is ook een Engelse vertaling van dit rapport verschenen: The Integration Monitor 2005 ; the social integration of migrants monitored over time: trend and cohort analyses (Cahier 2005-16a).
