| dc.description.abstract | Het doel van het onderzoek is inzicht te verkrijgen in de algehele lichamelijke gezondheidstoestand van justitiabelen. De focus is tweeledig en gericht op zowel de medische toestand van justitiabelen als ook op hun voedingstoestand. De resultaten moeten DJI beter in staat stellen om een op de bestaande zorgvraag afgestemd medisch aanbod te organiseren en een meer onderbouwd beleid te formuleren rond voeding gerelateerde onderwerpen. Een adequaat zorg- en voedingsaanbod is niet alleen van belang voor een goede algehele gezondheid, maar is ook verweven met in detentie veel voorkomende problemen zoals verslaving, psychiatrische problemen en allerlei psychosociale problemen zoals dakloosheid. | |
