dc.description.abstractThe objective of the yearly issued Monitor Crime in the Business Sector (MCB) is to provide an insight into the victimisation of Dutch companies and the measures they take to combat criminality. The MCB provides the facts and figures required for discussions of the safety of companies and the measures to increase safety; it als provides an insight into the developments over the years. The survey has been carried out in the following five sectors of the Dutch business community: Construction, Retail, Hotels and restaurants, Transport, Commercial services.
dc.description.abstractHet doel van de Monitor Criminaliteit Bedrijfsleven (MCB) is een betrouwbaar en nauwkeurig beeld te schetsen van de aard en omvang van de criminaliteit tegen bedrijven in Nederland, de preventieve maatregelen die zij nemen tegen criminaliteit, de ondervonden schade, het meldingsgedrag van bedrijven en de ontwikkelingen daarin door de jaren heen. De MCB 2008 is een exacte replica van de monitor 2004, 2005, 2006 en 2007 en is gericht op de sectoren: detailhandel, horeca, transport, bouw en zakelijke dienstverlening.
