dc.description.abstractDe probleemstelling van dit onderzoek luidt als volgt. Voor het emancipatiebeleid voor allochtone vrouwen is inzicht van belang in de (keuze)processen die spelen tijdens hun levensloop en in de sociale, culturele en religieuze processen die daarop van invloed zijn. Hierbij is een vergelijking relevant tussen vrouwen die wel en geen succes hebben naar de maatstaven van het emancipatiebeleid, evenals tussen de allochtone vrouwen en autochtoon-Nederlandse vrouwen van vergelijkbare sociaal-economische afkomst.
