Trendrapportage notariaat 2006

Abstract

The entry into force of the Dutch Notaries Act in 1999 introduced greater free market operation in the notarial profession. This was supposed to result in 'acceptable fees', and better quality services. The Ministry of Justice wants to monitor the developments in respect of accessibility, continuity and quality of services rendered by the notarial profession within this framework. The first notarial practice trend report was completed at the end of 2004. This is the second report.

Binnen het notariaat zijn verschillende ontwikkelingen gaande. Sinds de nieuwe wet op het Notarisambt van 1999 is de marktwerking in de beroepsuitoefening versterkt. Daarnaast zijn er processen gaande als specialisatie, schaalvergroting en internationalisering. De Tweede Kamer is een tweejaarlijkse trendrapportage toegezegd (Kamerstukken II, 2003-2004, 23 706, nr. 56). De rapportage geeft een overzicht van de stand van zaken en ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de a) toegankelijkheid, b) continuïteit en c) kwaliteit van de dienstverlening.
