Prognose van de sanctiecapaciteit 1999-2003

Abstract

This report presents prognoses up to 2003 in the field of HALT settlements, community service orders, and correctional institutions for juvenile offenders, the prison system and forensic facilities. Growth is expected in all fields, yet it is more pronounced in minors. The expected growth in the period 1999-2003 varies from 10 percent in the prison system to just under 60 percent in correctional institutions for juvenile offenders.

Dit rapport presenteert prognoses tot 2003 op het gebied van Halt-afdoeningen, taakstraffen, justitiele jeugdinrichtingen, gevangeniswezen en tbs-inrichtingen. Op alle terreinen wordt een groei verwacht. Deze is het sterkst bij minderjarigen. De verwachte groei in de periode 1999-2003 varieert van 10 procent bij het gevangeniswezen tot bijna 60 procent bij de justitiele jeugdinrichtingen.
