A quick scan
Abstract
This is the report of a quick scan of the effects of the legislation on registered partnership, which came into force on 1 January 1998. The questions addressed in this quick scan may be divided into two areas: 1) to determine the number of registrations which have been concluded, classified according to composition, sex and age; 2) to investigate people's reasons for deciding to conclude a registered partnership and the consequences of this decision.
