Abstract
The focus of these reports is to understand how court ordered treatments work. Much emphasis was placed upon what was seen as an intrinsic tension or paradox consisting of 'pushing' individuals into treatments whereas, according to much accumulated evidence from previous studies, treatments for drug offenders will be compromised if clients are not willing or motivated.
